The resilient APET
(amorphous polyethylene terephthalate) is
highly transparent, has a very good barrier
value against both steam and gas and is resistant
to oils and fats.
The non-crystallizing variant, PETG,
also remains crystal-clear at very high reshaping
temperatures and allows very high forming
sharpness.
Due to the good sealing properties, PETG,
i.e. a multi-layer foil (PETG-APET-PETG abbreviated
G-A-G) is used for this.
PETG can be employed in a temperature range
of - 40 ° C to + 70 ° C. |
